I am a compassionate, dedicated and ambitious professional looking to help others overcome their personal challenges.
My approach is to understand where you are and apply flexible yet meaningful experiences to help aid you through your difficult times, offer a safe nurturing judgement free space and to learn new skills to help you apply. Each person I see deserves a meaningful, unique and specific tailored session to their needs. Let me meet you where you’re at.
I have experience helping children and youth navigate the school system. I’ve been honoured to work with many children and youth with their anxiety, depression, body image issues, and self-esteem which help them become successful in the education system and in their daily lives.
Let’s face it, school is stressful and difficult to navigate without mental health, self-esteem or confidence challenges as it is. I am passionate about helping others make the most out of their youth (or educational) experience.
I have experience helping adults explore their past and current traumas. Sometimes life can throw us situations of grief, abandonment, anxiety, depression, body image challenges that can alter their feelings, daily life and coping mechanisms. I have helped adults steer through their anxiety and develop coping mechanisms that are specific to them utilizing a solution-based approach.

Therapist / Counsellor,
Registered Social Service Worker, Bachelor of Religious Education
Special Interests: Individuals, Families, Couples, Parents, Women, Grief/Loss, Stress, Burnout, Body Image, Trauma.
I have been in the counselling field for seventeen years. Two of those years were in the United Kingdom working with families, youth, and children (and travelling Europe!). After moving back to Canada, I spent fifteen years in Peterborough providing counselling, facilitating groups and offering training to the community. During this season, I became a mom, a stepmom and had the unique experience of being a gestational carrier (surrogate) as well. A move to Simcoe County in 2020 brought more exciting changes for my family, which is how I found Mainstream Therapy.
I offer counselling for adults (individuals, couples or families) with a special interest around women experiencing grief, loss, life changes, body image work, infertility, navigating relationships / parenting, and setting boundaries. My counselling practice offers a safe space to work on personal wellbeing goals with practical tools that can be used both in and out of sessions. Thank you for taking the time to be here. I wish you well.
Fun Fact: I write poetry ‘for fun’ and have a goal to publish a book one day!

I am a fourth-year student in the Honours Bachelor of Counselling Psychology program, currently completing my internship at Mainstream Therapy. My academic journey has been focused on evidence-based practices and client-centred techniques, enabling me to tailor support to each individual’s unique needs.
I specialize in helping adults and adolescents who are in the process of “starting over”—whether that means navigating significant life changes, rebuilding after setbacks, or redefining personal goals. In my work, I integrate cognitive-behavioural and solution-focused strategies within a client-centred framework to foster resilience and promote meaningful, sustainable growth.
A guiding principle I live by is “Progress over perfection.” I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment that allows clients to develop self-awareness, harness their strengths, and confidently embrace the next chapter of their lives.
